Founder and Director of Youth in Excellence CIC
Regularly referred to as ‘a superwoman’ and ‘an inspiration’, Kay has not always possessed the confidence or drive to do her own thing. “When I was at primary school, I remember being so shy that if someone spoke to me I would literally want to cry!” she said, “I would completely shut down and want to run away. Although I was quite bright and enjoyed learning most of the time, I didn’t have any belief in myself or know what education could actually lead to.
As I moved into secondary school, and especially in the last 2 years I totally lost interest in learning. I had no-one around me that was setting any examples, or giving me advice or direction as to what opportunities were available to me. So as far as I was concerned, there wasn’t anything worth being involved in.” What changed for Kay? Read full profile here

Youth in Excellence CIC Director.
Tony was born and raised in south London to Jamaican parents who worked hard under difficult circumstances to keep the family together. Losing his mother while still a teenager, Tony lost his most important role model before he was ready to take on independence and this caused him to struggle to become the man he is today.
It is however, that same struggle that defines who he has grown to be. Who is Tony now? Read full profile here
